THE HONEST TRUTH WILL SET YOU RIGHT
Honesty, sheer personal honesty would necessarily lead most people, certainly most Western people, to agree with my political view on supporting human inequality and the virtues of inequality. It would lead people to the political right. It is hypocritical virtue signalling and fantasy politics divorced from human reality that enables Western people to ‘intellectually’ support the political left.
The crucial point I make is most people, even if relatively rich (compared to most people in the world) want to be even richer. That is just human nature (for most). Especially as I myself originally wanted to be rich and would now like to be richer, I do not condemn it. Indeed I went into business to become richer. Nothing wrong with that. Most people who go to University if they are honest with themselves do so in the hope of eventually getting a better paid job. Perhaps in some cases there is the double effect of thinking they could do good in the world but at the same time they want unequally good pay. That applies to academics as well as journalists and national politicians (including those who claim to be left-wing or ‘progressive’) as well as to most people. Even poorer people do lotteries, especially big prize lotteries in the hope of becoming rich by good luck. More basically, most people would not work much nor efficiently if work was not accompanied by economic reward. If there was pay equality between jobs, most people would soon do next to no work.
That is the reality. I invite all people to honestly examine themselves and their real motives within this realistic perspective I ask people to view politics from. Then indeed the honest truth will set you right.
